During my tenure, I held positions as a Military Police Officer, Special Reaction Team member, and Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, serving with distinction for nearly five years.
Upon completion of my military service, I embarked on a 23-year career in law enforcement. I initially served with the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office for a decade before joining the Pueblo Police Department. My dedication to public safety was recognized through the awarding of the Medal of Valor for distinguished service, as well as numerous other honors. My diverse roles included Patrol Officer, SWAT Team Operator, K-9 Handler, Detective, Accident Reconstructionist, and Drug Recognition Expert.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and a Master’s in Management from Colorado State University. After retiring from law enforcement in 2023, I transitioned to the real estate sector, advancing into the mortgage industry. Presently, I contribute as a member of the Colorado Association of Realtors Legislative Policy Committee and the Mediation Board.
